AUJOURD´HUI MADAME
myspace
So one day, Phillippe Lavergne´s fate decided he had to go West, as life is peaceful there. He left his friends, his band, his beloved brothers PSG behind him. Well, France never really have him a chance anyway...
It was a tough decision, but this move, meeting new people, living in a new country, with a different life style, opened new doors, and helped him writing some new songs, with a slightly different style, mixing his usual old influences (The Jam, Orange Juice, The Undertones, The La`s, Teenage Fanclub, Hurrah!...) with "new" ones (One could say American ones). Songs that you are able to listen thanks to Susy Records.
Of course he misses his old comrades as they did great things together but Phillippe had a lot of fun recording his new songs last summer at Studio DELUXE in Lexington, VA, playing all the instruments, spending hours on guitar sounds and on multi-layered vocals.
The french Aujourd´hui Madame is no more, but the american Aujourd´hui Madame is proud to introduce the "DELUXE EP"!
