Elisabeth and Stefan are Leaving Mornington Crescent; Stefan is originally from a small town in southern Sweden, while Elisabeth grew up in Denmark. They met in 2006 and were soon a couple. Stefan then lived in Malmö and a short while after he got company when Elisabeth moved in with him and his cat Baltazar.

The then name-less band was hypothetically formed in spring of 2006. They made a couple of songs then, but were still experimenting with the sound. After a trip to London in spring of 2007, the band was no longer name-less, from then on they were Leaving Mornington Crescent. A couple of songs, like Sunny Day and April Song were recorded in 2007, but most of there songs came to life in 2009.

Most of the songs were written by stefan, although some of the songs were written by Elisabeth. The other one almost always has something to add that makes the song even better.

They are a happy couple, who aim to put a smile on people's faces with their short songs, which are mostly about love.
